Wonderfully tasty food and incredibly attentive, obliging service. It's a nice touch that every dish comes with a side salad. Absolutely recommended! The value for money is very convincing. Christian and his team are warm hosts who turn a meal into an experience. Any time, and gladly again and again.

We were welcomed by very friendly staff and served impeccably. I had a mixed grill platter that was not only good value but extremely well prepared and thoroughly filling. I will happily come back and can only recommend it to meat lovers and fans of Croatian cuisine!

An unassuming restaurant right in the middle of Koblenz. The food was so good that I ordered the same dish twice. The meat was fresh and really juicy. The service stood out too, checking again and again that everything was fine. I can recommend Stradun with a clear conscience. Simply delicious 😋

This was our third visit and we are delighted all over again. We were especially pleased that the team recognised us — that personal touch creates a feel-good atmosphere straight away. The service was as wonderfully friendly as ever (even though we were redeeming a voucher). The food was very tasty, and as a special highlight we were treated to a small taster of one of the house's current recommendations before dessert, on the house. A great experience, we will definitely be back!

Tasty food. Great cut of meat. Nice service. The only odd thing was being greeted by a man in very casual clothing (I think it was a vest and shorts). The portion was too big for me and the rest was packed up on request. The price was not cheap but reasonable. A place worth recommending.

Wow — we ate there quite spontaneously this evening and felt very welcome. We know the restaurant and its cosy setting from its Stadtkrone days. With all its little alcoves it feels wonderfully homely. World-class waiter: friendly, relaxed, calm, attentive. We followed his recommendation: veal fillet. Delicious, excellent, tender, first class in flavour. It has been a long time since we ate meat this good. Cooked exactly right. A smaller menu, but everything fresh, cooked and served with love and enthusiasm. We will definitely return.

We had turkey medallions, beef carpaccio and veal schnitzel with cranberries, plus a bottle of good Moselle wine. An Austrian could not have prepared that schnitzel any better — simply amazing 😍 The medallions were superb. Only a grill can produce an explosion of flavour like that.

The long-established “Stadtkrone” was taken over by Christian Brtan a year ago and has had a very good new kitchen concept ever since. Every dish is fresh and wonderfully prepared. We love Croatian cuisine and this one is absolutely excellent. The bar and the service are pleasant and attentive, and as a guest you feel completely at home and very welcome. Very fair prices. We will gladly come back.

We have been guests here for 40 years — I think that speaks for itself. Good hospitality, quick and attentive service, excellent and generous cooking, well-trained staff, clean facilities. By now our children come here as the next generation. Highly recommended! Dear team — keep it up!

A very pleasant restaurant. I was in Koblenz on business and came across it by chance. The welcome, the setting, the staff above all, and finally the food meant that I ate there every evening. I can only recommend it — give it a try. You will feel at home.

A taxi driver recommended the Stadtkrone to us back in the day, and it has been our regular spot in Koblenz ever since. You get hearty, honest food in decent portions at a reasonable price. Very tasty, and the staff are very friendly too. The salad buffet is great as well. We will certainly be back.

I ate really well here: the meat was juicy, the grilled vegetables simple and nicely seasoned, the portion just right, and the service easy-going and genuinely kind! At midday, by the way, you get a fantastic lunch here at a fair price.

We were there this evening with seven people. All I can say is: it was excellent!! All the dishes (four different ones) looked superb and tasted that way too. Very, very good. The service here is outstanding as well. All in all, they will be seeing rather more of us. Truly recommended!!!

Cosy and delicious! We already loved eating here when it was called “Stadtkrone”. The menu has been trimmed a little and we do miss the odd dish. All the same, the food tastes very good, the staff are very kind, quick and attentive, and whenever I called to book I always reached someone straight away. Happy to come back!

A real asset for Koblenz! A small but fine menu — very flavourful. Warm and hospitable throughout. And pitch-black Vranac wine on the list — delicious! The cosy corners everywhere are lovely too. None of that canteen atmosphere that sadly passes for modern these days. At Stradun you can genuinely spend a pleasant, cheerful evening.

We came in for a quick lunch. The lunch menu is a short version of the main one with slightly smaller dishes, but with a salad buffet and soup of the day as well. The food is good quality too, so you can genuinely speak of excellent value. The only thing is that the interior feels dark and a little dated. Anyone who likes that would probably call it characterful, and it takes nothing away from the five stars overall.

A very cosy, classic, good restaurant in the heart of Koblenz with authentic Mediterranean cooking. The food is very tasty, the service very friendly and attentive. The prices are perfectly fair. There are not many restaurants like this left. Here's to many more good years!

Very tasty food, friendly service, and they really made an effort to speak English (as we speak no German at all). Absolutely recommended for anyone visiting this beautiful city who wants something delicious afterwards! Top marks!

We ate there twice last week and all three of us were pleasantly surprised. The surprise menu was fantastic and very tasty. It was lovely that the waitress and the owner took the time for a short chat with us. They are a very warm family; we enjoyed it enormously.
